Service terms
Poolside is for private swim and athletic clubs to offer one-pool lane scheduling. One club manager pays $79 USD per month after a 14-day no-card trial. A manager who subscribes with three or more trial days left keeps them; the first charge happens when the trial ends. The manager may cancel through the account billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless the payment provider specifies otherwise.
Clubs choose whether a swim is covered by membership or costs $0.50–$100 per swimmer. A paid swim reserves one place in a shared lane, not an exclusive lane. The club receives swimmer payments through its connected Stripe account; Stripe processing fees apply. No additional booking fee. The full amount and cancellation deadline are shown before payment. A paid checkout holds a place for up to 35 minutes and closes 40 minutes before the swim. The reservation is confirmed only after payment verification. Swimmer cancellations before the club's chosen deadline (0, 2, 12 or 24 hours before the swim) get a full refund; later cancellations release the place without a refund. Staff cancellations get a full refund. Refunds may take time and remain visible while pending. A paid change of time carries the original amount and earlier applicable refund deadline; no new charge is made.
A club may manage up to 12 lanes, with 1–6 places per lane and 2,000 approved swimmers. The manager chooses 30- or 60-minute slots, up to a 14-day booking horizon and 1–7 upcoming swims per member. Default limits are 7 days and 2 upcoming swims. Availability can change before confirmation; a waiting-list message never holds a place.
The manager controls access, opening hours and dated blocks. Blocking booked lanes requires review and cancels the affected swims with a notice attempt to verified members. The club is responsible for communicating any safety or physical facility instructions. This service does not guarantee a lane is physically available or manage memberships, classes, staff or door access.
After an unpaid trial or paid period expires, new bookings, approvals, waiting-list joins and configuration pause. Existing bookings remain readable and cancelable, and the manager can export data and manage billing. Export before permanently deleting an account or club. Payment records and unsettled refunds need to be retained and reconciled; accounts with swimmer payment history require a private removal request through support. Service interruptions and undeliverable email remain possible. Contact support about billing or an access issue.
